Artwork guidelines
Prepare Artwork for Custom Sticker Production
A production-ready file is useful, but it is not the only acceptable starting point. Send the best artwork available together with final-size, cutline, surface and packing information so the proof review can focus on the real risks.
File preparation
What to Include With the Artwork
- AI, PDF, SVG or EPS vector file when available
- PSD, PNG or JPG reference when it shows the intended appearance
- Final sticker size or a practical size range
- Die-cut, kiss-cut, sheet or roll-label direction
- Material, finish and application surface if known
- Notes identifying text or details that must remain readable
Rights and versions
Use the Correct, Authorized File
Submit original, customer-owned or properly authorized artwork. Name the version that should be quoted and identify any reference image that is for direction only.
When several files are supplied without a clear final version, proof review can solve the wrong problem. A short note about the approved logo, colors and text is more useful than a folder of unexplained exports.
Proof review
Four Areas That Deserve a Deliberate Check
Cutline and border
Confirm whether the shape follows the artwork, uses a white border or leaves extra backing around a kiss-cut sticker.
Small text and thin details
Judge important information at final printed size, not only while zoomed in on a screen.
Transparent or reflective material
Identify white ink, clear areas and holographic exposure instead of assuming the digital artwork predicts the material effect.
Sheet and pack layout
Confirm design count, peel spacing, backing size, sorting and any retail card or bag requirement.
A Useful Artwork Handoff
Package the final source, a visual reference and a short written specification together. That gives the reviewer a way to compare the editable file with the appearance you approved and the physical result you expect. Keep old drafts out of the final handoff unless they are clearly marked as references.
